In 2000, the Scott family relocated to the small Nisga'a community of Gingolx. At the invitation of community members, VideoWave Productions helped plan, find funding, and set up a small media centre where training and work experience on cultural media projects could take place. Multimedia training courses were put on with 20 community members completing their Macromedia Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash certification and seven completing Macromedia Director and Authorware certification as well. Additional training in video production, DVD authoring and multimedia presentation production was provided.

A 5 minute DVD was produced on the harvesting, smoking and rendering grease from the Oolichan.
